My client, a leading force in their industry sector, is recruiting for a commercial Site Accountant to work in a sole charge role The main responsibility of this role is to provide strong Business Partnering to the General Manager and key individuals in other functions in order to raise the profile of the Finance team by striving to achieve zero manufacturing variances. You will be required to challenge all current procedures, removing waste and ensuring that all tasks add value as well as providing insightful weekly management information. This role will play a lead role in improving stock control, managing working capital, and preparing a full P&L in order to drive costs down and improve profitability. You will do full product costing for new products and complete the full budget process for the site.
Candidates will ideally be qualified, have experience of a large ERP system and have advanced knowledge of Excel. You must be a self-starter who is prepared to take responsibility, and possess a keen eye for detail.
