We will shortly have the following vacancy for Children’s Services:
Deputy Manager
• Pay Point 15 (£25285 per annum)- 17 (£27874 per annum)dependant on experience
• 40 hours a week worked flexibly over a 7 day rota
• Full year with 33 days paid holiday including bank holidays
The role is required to support the Children’s Services Manager and Registered Manager in the day to day operational management of Registered Children’s Homes on behalf of The Trust for children who are deaf or have communication or learning disabilities and challenging behaviour and to support with the maintenance of registration standards as laid down in the National Minimum Standards as regulated by Ofsted.
We are looking for an effective people manager who has a good understanding of the National Minimum Standards for Children’s Homes and the Children’s Homes regulations 2001 along with the skills to motivate and support staff. At least two years Team Leader/Management experience, ideally in Children’s services, and including On call is required. BSL Level 1 and good BSL signing skills are important for this role and the successful candidate will have an NVQ 3 and will be committed to completing a Leadership and Management Award at Level 5.
