Private Day Nursery catering for children 6 months to 5 years, 51 weeks of the year.

Description of Vacancy:

Responsibilities:

Full time apprentice vacancy for dedicated, child-centred individual.
Busy child care environment.
Working on a variety of tasks including reading with the children liaising with other team members, active play sessions.
Working with children within the nursery this position will enable the successful applicant to become part of a high quality professional team.

Wage:

£2.73 per hour

Hours:

To be agreed – minimum of 30 hours.

Qualifications Required:

A*-C GCSE in Maths and English

Future Prospects

Possibility of permanent Employment after qualification.

Training Provided:

On the job training with the employer whilst working towards the Apprenticeship Framework – consisting of the NVQ Level 2 in Children & Young Peoples Workforce Technical Certificate and Functional Skills if appropriate.

Regular work based assessments/observations carried out by Kent Training & Apprenticeships Tutor Assessor, to determine competency and meet with Awarding Body standards
