The award-winning Penshurst Place hosts around 60 events per year and its Banqueting and Events team ensures that each event is run to the client's satisfaction, in a safe and secure manner. The range of events hosted at Penshurst Place includes corporate meetings and team-building activities, parties, concerts and wakes, but most of the events are weddings.
Each event is booked and planned by the Banqueting and Events department during office hours in the week and the majority of events are hosted in the evening and at weekends, usually holding a maximum of 200 guests.
We are currently recruiting for a part-time Banqueting and Events Assistant to work approximately 16 hours in the office per week and some weekend and evening work, to be present at and oversee the running of the events.
Please note that this position involves some unsocial hours at weekends and own transport is essential.
Experience of planning and running weddings and events would be advantageous, but not essential.
