We also sell extensive ranges of artist’s materials to both professionals and amateur enthusiasts.

Description of Vacancy:

We are looking to recruit an confident and motivated individual with excellent interpersonal skills to promote, sell & advise our customers on artists materials.

Responsibilities:

We are looking for a highly professional individual with a keen eye for detail to join our team. A creative approach and an interest in art would be an advantage as we welcome new ideas for promoting products and services.

Day to day duties will include:-

Answering telephone calls from customers
Greeting customers to the gallery
Sales & Advising on products
Keeping the gallery clean & tidy
Ordering & Stock Control
Assist within the framing workshop
Assist with Window Displays
Assist with hanging exhibitions
The role would suit an artistic individual with a keen interest in business, which is confident dealing with all types of customers both face to face and over the telephone.

Wage:

£2.73 per hour

Hours:

5 days per week to include Saturdays. 9.00am to 5.00pm.

To hold qualifications in both English and maths

Training Provided:

On the job training with the employer whilst working towards the Apprenticeship Framework – consisting of the NVQ Level 2 in Customer Service, Technical Certificate and Functional Skills if appropriate. Regular work based assessments/observations carried out by KT&A Training Services Tutor Assessor, to determine competency and meet with Awarding Body standards.
