Payroll Administrator – Accounting practice experience ideally but not essential

£20-23K



Office Angels are currently seeking a Payroll Administrator ideally with previous practice experience to join an established, growing and reputable organisation with client offices throughout London and the South East. Due to continued success my client has a new opening to work alongside a small team on payroll and they are looking to appoint as soon as possible. This is a full time role with flexible working hours and many other staff benefits. This is a great opportunity!



Key responsibilities will include however are not limited too:

· Dealing with a very high volume of transactions so you will need to be able to work in a very busy, fast paced environment.

· Working closely with the Payroll Manager and a part time Payroll Administrator

· Assisting with weekly and monthly payrolls

· Scanning Payroll and HR data on to employee files

· Monitoring staff holidays and holiday allowances

· Dealing with queries about hours, overtime, holiday allowance and holiday pay

· Setting up new starters and processing finishers

· Managing confidential information regarding hours and employees situations.



The successful applicant will have previous experience within a similar role, whilst the following is essential:

· AAT qualified

· Be comfortable handling a high level of administrative tasks

· Be competent on Sage Line Payroll 50 and have experience of manual payroll

· Have a good working knowledge of MS Office

· Possesses a high level of accuracy and attention to detail

· Have a proven track record of work within a payroll or finance department

· Be organised and methodical with good time management skills to meet strict deadlines.

· Must be good with facts and figures

· Be available immediately

· Previous practice experience is desirable but not essential
