Online Marketing Assistant

Job Description
We have a great opportunity for either a Graduate who is looking to expand their skills, or an experience Marketer who would like to move away from full time hours.

We have an opportunity to work for a niche retailer in the Medway Towns. The company has grown organically over the past two years through various mediums of online marketing but there is still lots of potential for further growth in the market.

Having grown their database of customer’s email addresses and website visitors, they feel it time to employ an experienced individual to help us keep their content and online marketing current and interesting.

From regularly updating their online home page banners to creating and scheduling regular marketing emails, you will be responsible for bringing together all elements of online marketing. You will be required to gather information from colleagues and suppliers to generate and post offers and news that will be of interest to their customers.

This role will also cover aspects of Google Adwords and Google Analytics, including reviewing Ad Groups, spend and assessing our conversion values to spend, ensuring that we only spend money on areas that are contributing to good quality sales.

Person Specification
• Experienced in Online Marketing, ideally with a background in e-commerce.
• Experienced in Google Adwords (product Campaigns), Google Analytics & Google Merchant Centre
• Experienced in Graphic Design to a good standard. Knowledge of Adobe Suite an advantage.
• Knowledge of “how Google works” with an up-to-date understanding of Google’s latest search technology.
• Able to create and write online blogs.
• Good Attention To Detail.
• Excellent Written English with no less than B at GCSE or A-Level (or equivalent).
• Organised & Able to Work To Deadlines.

Hours & Pay
• Flexible hours. Circa 7-14 hours per week between 9am and 5pm
• £8-£14 per hour depending on experience
• Additional Discretionary Bonus Incentive Linked to Online Sales
• Can be self-employed or contracted if preferred.
