Working for a large business division, with a turnover of approximately £50 million, you will report to the CFO whilst supporting the Divisional Director in all financial matters. The business division is part of a much larger organisation employing over 700 staff with a combined turnover of almost £400 million.
Duties:
• To be a member of the divisional SMT and divisional finance teams
• Financial reporting and planning to include a 5 year plan, annual budget, in year forecast, monthly management accounts and year end in accordance with instructions of the Corporate Finance Director
• Lead on the financial aspects of divisional planning
• Manage working capital including A/R, Stock, A/P and Treasury
• Divisional capital expenditure management for current and future operations
• Monitor actual versus plan, budgets and forecast
• All financial accounting and handling of professional advisors including auditors (internal and external)
• Transaction processing of sales, purchases, cash and other working capital
• Business systems development, implementation and operation
• Support the divisional leadership on all M&A activity
• Support procurement and business improvement initiatives initiated both centrally and by division
• Ensure corporate governance is in place and maintained to the highest standards
• Input to and monitoring of divisional operating model including pricing, purchasing, rebates, margins and overheads
• Apply financial policy to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of divisional income statements, balance sheets and cash flow
• Monitor divisional performance and coordinate monthly reviews
• Help identify synergies and best practice
It is essential that you are a Qualified Finance Business Partner with significant senior financial management experience in a £50m+ revenue business. Strong management and leadership skills are essential and a background in E-Commerce would be desirable. You will also have knowledge of project planning, program management and business transformation. M&A experience would also be a benefit.
