Senior Residential Support Workers (Field View, White Wing Boys, Tresla)

· Pay Point 9 (£9.18 per hour)- 10 (£9.61 per hour)
· 40 hours a week worked flexibly over a 7 day rota
· Full year with 33 days paid holiday including bank holidays

In addition to practical support duties and ensuring the security and wellbeing of the children Senior Residential Support Workers lead a team of support workers in the absence of the Team Leader and support the Team Leader in delegated tasks. A qualification in care at minimum Diploma / NVQ Level 3 or equivalent is required along with substantial experience of working in a residential setting.

An appreciation of difficulties faced by Deaf children and young people with additional needs is essential as are good communication skills and commitment to learn BSL. Full details of the requirements are outlined within the job specification.
