About the role
After years of incredible growth our small but ferocious marketing team are looking for a new family member – if you’re entrenched in the culture of social media, have a talent for building advocacy and find the idea of a growing, changing business exciting we might be just what you’re looking for…
We need someone to own implementation of our ambitious social and content marketing strategy; taking social media marketing on from the coal face and interfacing with agencies to make content king of everything we do online.
You’ll need to be unafraid to take risks and challenge the status quo, shaping this role to take advantage of your strengths.
Responsibilities
• Execution of day to day social media activity (both paid and unpaid) (e.g. identifying or creating content then posting to our business accounts) in the business “voice”.
• Managing social spend (both on media and agencies) to align with budgets and identifying opportunities to invest further. Optimising adverts, posts and landing pages to deliver maximum ROI.
• Liaising with agencies to deliver our content strategy, primarily by critiquing their output and implementing actions on-site and across our social media platforms.
• Scheduled and ad-hoc reporting that combines internal data with Google Analytics.
• Supporting in other digital projects as required, inc. search marketing and forecasting.
Required
• Strong written English and copywriting/proofing skills.
• Intermediate experience using image manipulation applications such as Photoshop, Fireworks or GIMP.
• Demonstrable working knowledge of paid social media, current trends and how to optimise for success.
• Experience managing earned social media campaigns and regularly maintaining content.
• A basic understanding of on and off site SEO principles.
• Familiarity with Google Analytics and analytical aptitude.
Desirable
• Experience in lead generation via. web enquiries.
• A basic understanding of web development and site management – front or back end.
• Understanding of search marketing principles.
The salary is £20,000+ depending on experience, plus bonus and healthcare.
