Husk (UK) Ltd is part of the Star Cargo Group. Operating a 24-hour freight terminal at Lydden in Kent, Husk provides services to a wide range of clients involved in the transport industry. Our Service & MOT Centre specialises in the service, maintenance and repair of all types of vehicles from cars to HGV’s and is part of the MAN Truck & Bus Service Agency Network.
We are currently looking to recruit a Workshop Manager to take on full responsibility for our 7 bay workshop. The role involves extensive client and supplier liaison, management of the productivity and efficiency of our eight technicians and the overall performance of the workshop.
The successful candidate will have an engineering background, ideally with commercial vehicle experience in an independent or main dealer environment. Management experience and strong interpersonal skills are essential, along with good communication, organisation and administrative skills.
In return, a very attractive salary package is on offer with a company car and pension.
