Designer wanted
£20k - £25k depending on experience and fit. 

We are a business focussed creative marketing and design agency based just outside of Maidstone.

We are looking for a designer who understands that design has a value over and above creativity. That it helps to communicate a message or promote a service, the purpose of which is to generate revenue and enhance brand value. 

This is a great opportunity for someone to develop their design skills and apply them to their work having learnt to understand the business context of the brief. Our offices are based in a converted Oast house where you will experience a friendly and fast paced environment working for London based clients. This job provides an opportunity for the right individual to make their mark and develop into an all round designer who having understood the business needs of the brief/client can translate this into a creative solution that adds value to our clients bottom line.

The person we're looking for will have bags of energy and enthusiasm. The ability to communicate with clients on a business level and translate their requirements into creative communications that are not superficial, but meet the brief. A creative, original thinker, analytical and determined. A long-range thinker that uses foresight, an eye for detail combined with an exceptional ability to turn ideas into solid plans of action. High standards, a desire to learn and the ability to foster relationships.

We're a small team and everyone on that team pulls their weight. The right candidate will be someone for whom design is a vocation and not a 9-5 job. Someone who is self motivated to continually improve their skills to create innovative solutions. 

The role will involve designing for print and digital. 
Print design includes, adverts, mailers, brochures, reports and newsletters.
Digital design includes building HTML emails, preparing digital assets for web and multimedia use. Creating online adverts, blog design and production of movie files.

Candidates will have, or will be able to demonstrate:
Proficient in CS6: InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premier, After Effects, Flash and Acrobat Pro
The ability to work with brand guidelines
Good interpersonal skills and the ability to manage their own varied workload and communicate clearly with colleagues and clients. 
The desire to be part of a busy and talented team.

It would be good if you had experience of or a willingness to learn:
Wordpress, HTML and CSS working to web and accessibility standards.  
Camtasia, Garageband and Final Cut Pro 
Experience or interest in working with mobile and web apps
SEO, accessibility and usability design for web.
