Health & Social Care Trainer

Faversham

Salary £19,000 - £25,000 dependent on experience and qualifications

The post holder will be responsible for delivering internal training in the Health & Social Care Sector.

The Job Role
The role will involve working with staff and managers to create, deliver and monitor training programmes to all sections of our workforce. A flexible approach to work is essential, with some weekend and evening work (with time off in lieu).

The Person
The right candidate will be qualified/competent to deliver a range of courses including:
• Moving and Handling
• SOVA
• Equality and Diversity
• MCA/DOLs
• H&S, COSHH, Infection Control
• Dementia
• Medical support/First Aid
• Induction training to Common Induction standards (soon to be the Care Certificate)
• Nutrition & Hydration

The candidate will have extensive experience and demonstrable skills in training within the Health & Social Care sector. You will be self-motivated, have good time management skills as well as be able to use initiative within the scope of the job role. It would be desirable that your experience includes supervisory/management skills.

The successful candidate must hold a relevant training qualification and an H & SC qualification at level 3 or above. It would be desirable to hold a level 3 Assessor Certificate or equivalent or be willing to train for the same. Travel to various locations in Kent and South London would be required.


Candidates will be required to deliver a ‘micro teach’ session of 10 minutes training to the panel on a skill/subject of your choosing
