Learning Mentors
Spanish, Geography, History And Science
£25 per hour | Hours to suit (casual contracts) | Required ASAP

We are seeking to appoint a number of motivated Learning Mentors in Spanish, Geography, History and Science to join our highly motivated and dedicated team. Candidates should be able to work effectively with small groups of students in order to maximise student progress.

This is an exciting opportunity for working collaboratively with departmental staff to support students in achieving their expected grades.

You will be a teacher with QTS status and hold a degree in a relevant subject coupled with proven experience in one of the four subject areas we are looking for. You will have excellent knowledge of exam board requirements and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels. Brompton Academy, sponsored by the University of Kent, is an extremely popular oversubscribed school. Our previous two Ofsted reports, the last one in October 2012, rated us as ‘good’. We have a dynamic, innovative team of professional staff who want to make a difference to the lives, aspirations and opportunities of our young people in this socially and economically deprived area.
