.NET Developer (ASP.NET, Web Forms, MVC, jQuery, C#)

Due to continued expansion, our client, a software house based in Maidstone, is now looking for two.NET Developers to join their in-house software development team.
Essential Knowledge and Experience:
· At least 2 years commercial experience of Microsoft .NET development (ASP.NET (Web Forms) MVC and jQuery case) in a web environment
· Thorough understanding of Microsoft Development platforms and tools with specific focus on .NET technologies with C#
· A good understanding of User Interface (UI) concepts and features
· Minimum of 2 years commercial experience of Microsoft SQL Server
· Sound experience of multi-tier application architecture and development using Microsoft technology
· Demonstrable development lifecycle (SDLC) understanding
· Security knowledge from an application perspective (e.g. Authentication using certificates)
· Good knowledge of application testing, including unit tests and test driven development.
· The principles and practice of Web Services and Service Oriented Architectures
· Object-Oriented (OO) design and methodologies
Desirable
Experience of Sharp Architecture with Asp.net MVC Framework and Nhibernate.
TOC Critical Chain methodologies
Telerik's Rad Control for Asp.net AJAX Application
Experience of applications development in an Agile Scrum methodology
Job Purpose / Objective
Develop and maintain SaaS products and internal systems.
Specific Duties
Development, testing, implementation and support of .NET applications
Responsibility for development and support of code throughout iterative cycles
Provide estimates for development work and deliver in-line with commitments
Configuration and implementation of applications based upon Microsoft products/platforms such as .NET and SQL Server
Input into improving practices and procedures
Development of standards, documentation and service offering
General Duties
Attend development and project meetings as required
Liaise with the Business Analyst, product development team and QA team
Understand customer issues and keep abreast of timescales for resolution
Provide KPIs to the business on the progress and status within each project
