Our client based in Tonbridge are looking to recruit a pro-active HR Administrator to work on a part time basis within their very busy HR team. You will provide full support within the HR department. This is initailly a 3 month contract role with a view of contract to perm for the right person.
Hours - 21 hours per week (flexibility available as to exact days / times worked)
Your duties will include:
* Assist in all aspects of recruitment; liaising effectively with suppliers and line managers, co-ordinating interviews and preparing interview packs for the line managers.
* Support the issue of contracts for new employees as well as self-employed contractors and ensure that all volunteers receive and sign up to a Volunteer Agreement. Responsible for co-ordinating all new starter paperwork; references, identification documentation, evidence of qualifications and new starter induction timetable. Ensure that all relevant departments are updated of any new starters.
* Responsible for the administration of all contract variations, salary review letters, end of probation letters and maternity/paternity leave documentation.
* Update and maintain the HR database, ensuring that all information on the system is accurate.
* Support the administration of the employee pay and benefits schemes and the annual pay review. Ensure that employee data is accurate, kept up to date and communicated to providers;
* Support the administration of learning and development activities for employees and to ensure that annual training plan and employees personal development plans are fulfilled.
* Support the administration of the monthly payroll; ensuring that the HR Advisor is aware of any changes which need to be made to an employee’s pay-cycle.
* Co-ordinate all employee leaver paperwork and assist in conducting exit interviews with employees to ensure that we have proper feedback to facilitate continuous improvement.
The 'right' person will have worked within a similar position, be professional and have excellent communication skills. It is essential that you are a confident and well organised with a great attention to detail.
