We are a leading provider of residential care homes in the South and East of England offering person-centred support to adults with learning disabilities, where residents can grow in confidence and develop the daily living and decision-making skills they need.
Key responsibilities are:
Your skills and knowledge of caring for people will ensure that you deliver high standard of personal care for each resident and including matters of physical well-being and personal hygiene. You will work with residents and supporting them in the decisions they make about how they live their lives and ensuring that personal needs are met.
To be aware of the emotional needs and aspirations of each resident and to recognise talent, sensitivities and beliefs
Ensure the safety of residents at all times, reporting promptly any concerns.
To follow consistently all agreed Care Plans, risk assessments and individual resident guidelines, reporting any progress or problems
To demonstrate skill and imagination in helping residents deal with everyday difficulties
In return you will be supported in your own development through good training opportunities
