Assistant Head Chef
We are looking for an assistant to the head chef to join our kitchen team.
The Ambrette restaurant is a fine dining restaurant with a unique cuisine combining local produce with authentic spices. The Ambrette prides itself in offering the highest quality, with the freshest locally sourced ingredients. We are looking for Kitchen staff who have the drive to help take the business forward and work with the head chef to earn us our first Michelin Star. You must have strong attention for detail and have good knowledge of hygiene and HACCP. This is a full time position that will be a 5 day working week. Around 8/9 hours a day.
Key Skills
• Experience working in a fast paced fine dining establishment
• Be able to run a kitchen independently and relieve the head chef
• Unmatched love and passion for food
• Minimise food wastage
• Grilling meats to order
• Working with modern cooking techniques such as sou vide
• Good food presentation skills
