Alternative Curriculum Lead Tutors

Using the badge of a professional football club, Charlton Athletic Community Trust (CACT) works in partnership with local communities to empower individuals to improve their lives and their environment. The types of programmes delivered by CACT fit under five key aims; raising educational achievement, creating pathways to employment, building healthier lifestyles, bringing communities together and reducing crime.
We are recruiting for Alternative Curriculum Lead Tutors to work with young people in Key Stage 4 with SEN or ESBD. You will develop and sustain the alternative curriculum provision in partnership with the sites across Ashford, supporting KS4 students into achieving GCSE’s or appropriate equivalents.
You will work with some of the schools hardest to engage students, some of whom are on the verge of exclusion. This is a full time role on a teachers’ style contract, with preparation time and annual leave taken during school holidays.
