This is a full time position for an immediate start. Working hours are from Monday to Friday 40 hours per week 8.30am to 5pm.
We are an expanding business requiring a motivated candidate whose background has been within a busy office environment. The role comprises management and administrative duties which will require an in depth knowledge of Sage Line 50, management accounting and Sage payroll. The successful candidate will also have to have experience with managing a small team of people and have HR experience. The candidate will offer support directly to the Managing Director to enable the continued growth of the business.
The role encompasses accounts management, book keeping, completion of VAT returns and:
- Payment runs
- Reconciliations
- Cheque banking
- Bank reconciliation
- Payroll
- NI & PAYE
The role will also include managing a small office and running the HR function for the entire business
- Organising staff appraisals and reviews
- Recruitment for the growth of the business
- Managing a small office team
- Health and safety reviews
A good telephone manner and great communication skills for dealing with suppliers, customers and colleagues at all levels will be required.
