Background
We are currently seeking a talented individual to join our HR team in Tunbridge Wells as a Senior HR Business Partner.

This will initially be a 9 month fixed term position.

As a Senior HRBP, you will partner the business to influence, steer strategy, drive change and develop capability to deliver the PPP healthcare strategic goals. This Senior BP role also comes with responsibility for 1 direct report (HR Consultant).

The role
You will:
Work with Senior Managers to design and deliver a strategic people plan which includes organisation development, talent and succession management, reward, recognition and organisational change
Drive, coach and influence a culture of business ownership and accountability for people management practices enabling a high performance culture, demonstrating a positive and “can do” mindset
Gather intelligence and share market trends with our business on best in class people management practices to influence the business strategy
Provide detailed analysis of management information, enabling effective people, cost and risk management
Utilise business insight to identify areas for continuous improvement - ensuring that any initiatives are successfully embedded in the business
Develop, coach and manage the performance of 1 direct report
Other accountabilities will include:
Champion / lead transversal HR projects and initiatives ensuring successful embedding within the business area
Broker and contract the services of the HR Centres of Excellence (CoEs) to deliver for the business - secure their expertise in supporting business delivery, ensuring that long term relationships with CoEs are maintained
Develop HR capability to ensure a strong HR talent pipeline

Skills, knowledge and behaviour
You will be / have the following capability:
CIPD Qualified
Experience of managing organisational change e.g. TUPE and divestment, re-structure and integration programmes, change management, organisational design in large organisations
Proven track record of creating and delivering a strategic People agenda
Experience of people management
Relationship/consultancy – negotiation, contracting, consultancy, facilitation, influencing, presentation and communication skills
Ability to coach senior managers including the ability to manage difficult discussions
Ability to think and act strategically
Able to apply project management principles
Resilience and the ability to deal with conflict
Ability to work effectively with ambiguity
Creative and innovative approach to problem solving
Be a ‘team player’ and work collaboratively with others
Commercial and financial acumen
