We are fully accredited by the British Council and have links to schools, educational consultants and agencies worldwide. Each summer Stafford House hosts over 5000 international students aged 12-18. We also have year-round schools in Canterbury, Brighton and London.

Job Description
To manage all aspects of temporary staff recruitment for Stafford House Study Holidays. Example duties include: advertising, short listing candidates, arranging and conducting interviews, issuing contracts of employment and managing payroll processes. Another key part of the role is ensuring safer recruitment policies are adhered to and that thorough checks are carried out on all applicants.
Key responsibilities and capabilities
•Manage one fill time Recruitment Assistant
•Dealing with enquiries and applications, recruitment administration and sending out information
•Assist in providing first-line support with respect to email, telephone and fax inquiries to/from staff and our centres regarding staffing issues
•Assist in updating and controlling our database of temporary staff
•Track recruitment against agreed quotas and place staff in positions suitable for their experience, interests and skills
•Check CVs and carry out background checks and reference checks
•Issue contracts of employment
•Collation of data provided to Payroll department for processing
•Compile data, reports and statistics
•Assist in collation of centre management reports and recommendations
•General administrative duties within the Recruitment and Academic departments as required
Person Specification
Essential:
•Previous experience of working in a recruitment and/ or human resources team
•A basic understanding of essential employment law issues
•A general understanding of payroll administration
•Ability to communicate effectively and accurately via email and telephone
•Excellent IT skills, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel
•Excellent organisational and time management skills
•Proven ability to effectively use database systems
•A thorough and meticulous approach to work
Desirable:
•Previous experience of working in a teaching environment
•Knowledge of child safeguarding procedures in staff recruitment
•Knowledge of Disclosure and Barring Service
