Are you ACCA qualified and looking for a new position?
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Accountant, to join a small but successful business in Folkestone, on a permanent basis.
The ideal candidate will be;
- Fully ACCA qualified
- Have experience of working within a finance environment for an SME
- Experience of product/stock management
- Advanced Excel skills
Responsibilities will include;
- Contribute to the achievement of the Company objectives by providing advice and guidance on financial strategy.
- Assist with all accounting procedures and systems used by the Company.
- Review reports and analyse projections of sales and income against actual figures and suggests methods of improving the planning process.
- Assist the Company meets its financial and legal responsibilities.
- Improve the Company’s Stock Management System.
- Manage Stock Taking and Stock Valuation Process.
- Help MD to design new warehouse stock locations and introduce bar coding system.
- Oversee Monthly preparation of major supplier statement reconciliations.
- On-going review of supplier credit limits and payment terms.
- Maintain supplier relations creating a good credit rating for the Company.
- Helping to identify cost savings and margin improvement across the business.
- Produce statements, balance sheets, tax returns and reports for Government regulatory agencies.
- Develop Bought Ledger process for major accounts.
