Our client provides distribution of industrial chemicals and raw materials across the world. They are currently recruiting for a Logistics Administrator for their international operations.
The successful candidate will have the following skills:
Good knowledge of Word and Excel
Some experience in logistics management (shipments and stocks)
o Arranging shipments with suppliers and shipping lines
o Receiving and checking shipping declarations and documents
o Liaising with warehouses if goods are being delivered
o Monitoring weights and quality
o Managing stocks (Excel)
o Liaising with warehouses re deliveries
o Arranging deliveries to customers at home and abroad
o Completing letters and faxes.
Accountancy skills
o inputting orders (sales and purchase)
o raising invoices and stock reconciliation
o knowledge of multicurrency operations.
Own transport essential.
Hours of work: Monday to Friday
9 am to 5 pm (flexible)
Salary and benefits negotiable
