Our property solutions business takes an integrated approach to tackling property damage, disaster restoration, reinstatement, emergency accommodation and project management.
From escape of water claims to complex project managed building and repair projects, our regional teams of surveyors, subsidence engineers and project manager deliver great service, making use of a national network of contractors, managed by us.
Claims Coordinators – Customer Service Team
We are looking for candidates to provide a fast and efficient claims handling service for various insurers. You will be providing first line support to policy holders to ensure that that they receive quality customer care and support while dealing with claims and enquiries.
Duties & Responsibilities
- To effectively undertake work allocated to you by your Team Leader
- To progress all reinstatement claims efficiently in adherence to company SLAs
- Ensure work is completed to the required standard
- Build relationships with Suppliers, internal, external Clients, stakeholders and colleagues
- Ensure technical and procedural accuracy
- All technical decisions taken are correct and appropriate
- Obtain authorisation of claims outside level of authority
- Handle claims in line with client specifications and the appropriate service standards while providing a high level of customer care
- Ensure sound level knowledge of Client SLA
- Provide a first class customer service
- Actively promote the principle of Treating Customer Fairly
- Undertake any other tasks that are reasonably assigned you from time to time
Skills & Attributes
This position will suit candidates with strong customer service experience and confident communication skills. Applicants must be competent on the telephone whilst dealing with queries and claims in an efficient manner. A high level of computer literacy is essential together with good interpersonal skills and the ability to manage your own workload.
Insurance claims experience is desirable but not essential.
All candidates are required to have 4 GCSEs, grades C and above (inc. Maths and English) or an equivalent qualification. A CIP, ACII, FIT or degree would be desirable but not essential.
