What you'll be doing

As Night Manager you’ll lead, inspire and motivate the Nights team to handle hotel operations overnight to give a great first and last impression making sure that our customers have everything they need to be comfortable and enjoy their stay. Our Front Office team thrives on pressure and are nothing if not flexible, welcoming and perceptive about our customer’s individual needs.
As Night Manager you will be fully responsible for the hotel overnight with special attention to safety and security. Operations will include the Reception Desk, Room Service, Public Area cleaning and Event Room set ups.
The Night Manager will lead and develop their team to make sure they are confident and competent to provide the highest quality of service to our customers at the hotel overnight.
We also know that each and every one of our customers wants to be made to feel special, so we try to avoid lengthy standards and checklists, you’ll just use your instinct to build a great rapport and deliver our distinctively memorable service.

To have a great personality and be genuine, approachable, attentive and instinctive
To enjoy the buzz of being busy
To be smart and well presented
Previous experience in a hotel Reception / Nights role at assistant manager level
Excellent standard of numeracy, literacy
Excellent operational knowledge and experience of IT Front Office System
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Excellent level of spoken and written English
To be able to recognize and develop future stars
To be able to work night shifts between 11pm and 7am, which will include weekends and bank holidays.
