Our client is looking for Health Advisors who are required to work as part of a team to provide an effective and timely communication link with the Public and Health Care Professionals in receiving telephone calls for urgent and non-urgent healthcare needs.

This post is being offered on a temporary to permanent basis – 24 hours per week covering Saturday and Sunday + Bank Holidays between the hours of 6am & Midnight.
Weekday shifts will be evenings from either 4pm, 5pm or 6pm.
Additional ad-hoc shifts may also be available.

Initially you will receive paid training which will start on Saturday 1st November and will be every Saturday and Sunday 9am to 5pm up to 23rd November inclusive + every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday during this period from 6pm to 10pm. Training is compulsory and no days off during this period are permitted.

You will be the first point of contact and therefore play a vital role to callers who require medical assistance.
Excellent communication and keyboard skills are essential together with the ability to work under pressure, whilst dealing with callers who may be in a distressed state.
Applicants will be required to complete an on-line skills assessment which will include call handing, copy typing and basic literacy.

Successful candidates will be subject to an Enhanced Criminal Records Bureau check.

Due to the location and hours transport would be an advantage
