VIKING is the leading Cruise and Superyacht recruitment specialist providing qualified & experienced officers and staff for Deck, Technical and Hotel/Interior positions worldwide.
Full time Purchase Ledger Clerk required for our busy finance department. The ideal candidate will have worked in a finance section as a purchase ledger clerk but, this is not essential. Candidates with experience in working in a busy office environment, regular customer engagement or studying towards Level 2 AAT (Foundation) will be considered as well.
Duties to include:
• Dealing with all purchase enquiries from suppliers and internally;
• Preparation of invoices for approval;
• Inputting invoices on accounts system and process payments through online banking;
• Dispatching remittances and filing paperwork;
• Processing ad hoc manual payments;
• Checking and reconciling direct debits on accounts system;
• Checking and reconciling travel department invoices on our bespoke system;
• General administration duties expected of a busy finance office;
• Additional duties to assist other members in the finance team and Directors.
Candidates will need to possess the following:-
• ability to work as part of a team and also with limited supervision;
• handle pressure in a busy work environment;
• high degree of accuracy;
• good communication skills;
• Microsoft office and excel experience.
