At Vanquis Bank we’ve got an expanding business, fantastic people and ambitious growth plans. As part of the Training Team you’ll help to support that growth by working with key stakeholders from around our business to design and deliver creative training solutions to new employees, as well develop the skills and knowledge of existing Vanquis Bank employees.
As a skilled and experienced trainer this is a great opportunity for you to bring your knowledge and expertise to the team as well as have the opportunity to build on your skill set. As the first person that many of our new employees come into contact with you’ll be key to instilling the right behaviours and culture. As well as this you’ll also be responsible for conducting training needs analysis, the ongoing evaluation of all training interventions as well as, updating and developing the training programmes to ensure they’re compliant and up to date
Skills and Experience
• You will have significant previous experience as a Trainer
• Desirable to hold the CIPD Certificate in Learning & Development (or equivalent)
• You will have sound experience of formal Training Delivery and coaching individuals to achieve specific targets and develop skills to increase performance.
• You will have experience of conducting training needs analysis and carrying out formal training evaluation.
• You will have experience of designing and delivering face to face training
• Advantageous to have experience of designing and delivering e-learning courses (specifically using Articulate Storyline)
• You will have confidence and demonstrate your ability to manage large groups of people
• You have the ability to communicate complex information simply and effectively, both verbally and written.
• You are able to take ownership of problems and decisions made
• You are a logical thinker with a willingness to learn and are able to act on feedback as well as providing constructive feedback to others
• You demonstrate a common sense and a creative approach to work
• You are a team player with extreme patience and have excellent communication skills
• You are organised and enthusiastic with a passion for inspiring continuous learning in others
• You have a flexible approach to the work you do as well as the hours required to fulfil your role
