MAIN PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF THE JOB

• Assist in providing technical support to our clients utilizing our installed solutions Workforce Management Solutions encompassing Time & Attendance Recording, Door Access Control and AutoID Data Collection
•Assist in prepping equipment/supplies to send to clients or for installation on site
•Assist with site based installation of company supplied solutions
•Liaise with Sales Manager regarding technical issues in pre-sales process

DUTIES AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Attend client sites with technical consultant to install application software, provide consultancy to obtain detailed knowledge of company pay rules, initialisation of supplied software products to achieve best fit of clients pay rules. Train clients staff in use and application of software and systems supplied.
•Assist in provision of system/product support to end-user clients via telephone/fax/e-mail/remote access. Attend client sites with technical consultant to perform training or resolve technical issues usually resulting from hardware failure.
•Design and produce application support documentation to aid/improve support processes.
•Assist in specific training seminars either at Sprints premises or other locations.
•Maintain register of customers details including product & equipment supplied serial numbers, maintenance history, support history etc.
•Maintain analysis of their support time expenditure.
•Attend exhibitions to provide technical support to sales staff.
•Attend various exhibitions/seminars as directed to increase product knowledge and determine industry movements.
•Support sales team to meet their business objectives through providing product support knowledge.
•Attend, as directed, supplier training courses to enhance product knowledge, and new product releases.
•Order product supplies, deal with returns to manufacturers.
•Other such tasks that are from time to time required to fulfil the main tenets of the position.

Skills required:
•Clear and concise written and spoken communication skills
•Good numeracy, logic and problem solving capability
•Ability to present written information in a structured way
•Excellent IT skills such as familiarity with products such as Word, Excel, eMail, Internet Explorer and social media

GCSE grade C or above in Maths and English (or equivalent)
