We are currently recruiting for:

Role: Waking Night Support Worker

Location: Strood & Rochester

Salary range: £14,458 p.a.

Hours: 37.5

Shift: 10pm to 7.30am on a two week rolling rota.

Week 1: Monday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday
Week 2: Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday

• The role will be at our residential centre in Strood/Rochester supporting adults with Autism.
• You will be part of a team of two, providing support throughout the night for those who use our service.
• Waking night duties will also include monitoring the safety of each of the people that we support, laundry, household cleaning, and supporting individuals through their evening routine.

Experience Required/Desirable:

• NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care (Adults)
• That you hold a clean driving licence (for at least two years) as you may be required to drive a people carrier
• Experience and or knowledge of epilepsy
• Experience of working within the field of services for adults with special needs
• A willingness to participate in a continuous development of the service and an ambition to ensure that people are supported to achieve their aspirations within the community.
