About Us
We are an established kitchen, bathroom and bedroom designer, manufacturer and retailer, with 35 years of expert design, manufacture and fitting experience. Our market segment surrounds middle to upmarket custom, our approach is heavily focused on quality design, fitting and customer service that is delivered to our clients. A large proportion of our new business is acquired through recommendation, therefore it is essential that only client friendly applicants apply to this role.
We are a medium sized company based in the Medway area of Kent, with showrooms in Gillingham and South East London.
The Role
You will be responsible for the planning and execution of marketing communications for the company, with the intent to increase lead generation and local brand awareness. This will include the planning of promotions and events, the planning and scheduling of print adverts, website content maintenance, planning and posting strategic email campaigns, and social media posts on platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Google+ and Pinterest. In addition to this, you will be required to monitor PPC campaigns, monitor site performance via Google Analytics, and monitor marketing efficiency on an ongoing basis.
You will also work closely with the Managing Director, carrying out PA duties such as diary scheduling, meeting arrangements, answering the telephone, writing meeting agendas and reports, and occasionally arranging travel and accommodation for employees. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining showroom operating standards, so having a keen eye for detail is a great advantage.
About You
You will be a tech savvy, organised, dedicated individual with a marketing and advertising background, preferably within a retail or kitchen and bathroom industry. You will be approachable, and client friendly, as you will be spending a lot of time in the showroom overseeing day to day activities. You will be creative and driven, and will be capable of managing marketing plans, budgeting, and writing good content. Having experience in SEO copywriting, Photoshop and Google Adwords would be a big advantage, but these skills are not essential.
