There is an opportunity at Swallows Leisure for a full-time Technical Assistant position to complement our already very busy Technical Team. Swallows is a multi-facility leisure centre in Sittingbourne with swimming pool, gym, sports hall, café and children’s area - http://www.swaleleisure.com/swallows
You may be required to work weekends and bank holidays and also attend call-outs.
Starting Salary will be £15,000, 40 hours per week, normal work pattern Mon to Fri 6am to 14:30
Principal Duties
To consistently undertake cyclic technical checks as set out in the companies quality management system and instructed by the leisure centre’s management team and/or contract technician.
To consistently undertake reactive maintenance, service and repair works on a hands on basis to satisfy those requirements as set by the leisure centre’s management team and/or contract technician.
To consistently co-ordinate and have undertaken by approved term maintenance specialist works providers, reactive maintenance, service and repair works to satisfy those requirements as set out by the leisure centre’s management team and/or contract technician and where a sensible in house solution does not readily exist.
To consistently undertake cyclic maintenance and service works on a hands on basis to satisfy those requirements (in respect to both scope, time and quality) as set out by the leisure centre’s management team and/or contract technician.
To consistently coordinate and have undertaken by approved term maintenance specialist works providers, cyclic maintenance and service works on a contract appointment basis to satisfy those requirements (in respect to both scope, time and quality) as set out by the leisure centre’s management team and/or contract technician.
To undertake minor refurbishment and upgrade works to (for example, not exhaustive):
