Team Leader
• Pay Point 12 (10.46 per hour) - 14 (£11.53 per hour)
dependant on experience
• 40 hours a week worked flexibly over a 7 day rota
• Full year with 33 days paid holiday including bank holidays

In addition to practical support duties Team Leaders take overall responsibility for a residence, the team of support staff and the children/young people in the residence and will undertake professional duties at middle management level. Ensuring the compliance of the unit against standards is an essential aspect of the role.
A qualification in care at minimum Diploma / NVQ Level 3 or equivalent is essential along with substantial experience of working in a residential setting. Commitment to undertaking NVQ/Diploma to Level 5 is required. An appreciation of difficulties faced by Deaf children and young people with additional needs is important as are good communication skills and commitment to learn BSL.
