RARE BREEDS CENTRE
HIGHLANDS FARM, WOODCHURCH, KENT
Permanent; Part-time - 30 hours per week (Monday - Thursday, including occasional weekends)
Salary: £12,658
The South of England Rare Breeds Centre is a busy tourist attraction with more than 80,000 visitors a year. The Rare Breeds Centre supports the work of the Canterbury Oast Trust, a leading local charity providing high quality care and support for adults with learning disabilities across Kent and East Sussex. It also provides valuable training opportunities for the adults with learning disabilities enabling them to devlop various vocational skills.
We are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic marketing and reception assistant to help facilitate all the marketing, promotion and key events of the commercial activities of the Rare Breeds Centre.
You will also act as the first point of contact for visitors by taking & handling calls and enquiries. You will be able to provide outstanding customer service, have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and have a smart professional manner.
You should have previous general office experience, ideally with marketing, sales or reception work based experience and is willing to work alongside our clients with learning disabilities. An enhanced criminal record check will be required for this role.
