Essential duties and responsibilities:
To prepare a high quality, good value, tasty and freshly prepared menu
To keep an eye on current food trends and to put The Stile Bridge
Experience of costing dishes properly and working to a set GP margin
Maintain kitchen management systems including HACCP, temperature controls, stock rotation, and fridge storage
Work with suppliers to order food stock as needed
Maintain a clean, safe and well organised work area
Experience/knowledge/skills/abilities required:
2+ years commercial kitchen experience
Ability to work well under pressure
Effective delegation and communication skills
Ability to multi task and be flexible
Willingness to work evenings, weekends and bank holidays
To have an excellent eye for attention to detail and presentation of dishes
An evident curiosity to learn and progress
Enthusiasm and personal knowledge of the industry and is highly desirable
