Bank Support Worker Vacancies

The Trust cannot always predict the exact staffing levels it will require and so requires casual workers for the care team on a 0 hour bank basis. Work will be offered as and when available.

• Hourly rate from £6.50 - £7.77 dependant on experience and role undertaken
• 0 hours bank work as available and offered
Key responsibilities include ensuring the wellbeing and security of the children; following individual education and care plans; undertaking key worker responsibilities as required; personal care; ensuring medical appointments are kept; and maintaining accurate records. Dependant on role, experience and training roles may include administration of medication.
Sleep in and escort duties may also be available.

For all roles an appreciation of difficulties faced by Deaf children and young people with additional needs is essential as are good communication skills and commitment to learn BSL. Full details of the requirements are outlined within each job specification.
