MEP is pleased to announce that it has vacancy for a CNC Lathe Setter / Operator within the Machining department.
MEP is a successful precision engineering company based in Aylesford, Kent, with over 40 years’ experience in manufacturing components made from plastics and metals for the defence, aerospace, electrical and electronic sectors, using a wide range of manufacturing processes. These processes include CNC machining milling/turning, manual machining milling/turning, moulding compression and Injection, and also assembly work.
We require a CNC turner to join our team, to help strengthen the department and to assist MEP in achieving its set goals.
MEP machining works a 3 shift pattern rotating each month:
6 am -2.3 0pm /2pm -11-30 pm/10.00 pm - 6.30 am
Duties for this role will include:
• Setting CNC lathes
• 1st Offs
• Completion Inspection Measurement Sheets
Advantage if you have the following experience:
Fanuc controls
XYZ Pro-turn
Machining Centre ( milling) operating or setting skills
Worked in either the aerospace or defence industry precision engineering
CMM operating
