Crossroads Care is the leading charitable provider of Carers’ support in Kent.

What do we do?
We deliver enhanced short breaks services for Carers and the people they care for throughout East Kent, providing home based respite in order to give Carers a regular break.
We also support people to come home from hospital earlier, and operate a flagship 24 hour rapid response support service for Carers and people with dementia to help prevent unnecessary admission to hospital or residential care. We run COGS clubs for people with dementia, and offer pre bookable replacement care for Carers to be able to take time to look after their own health.

Why work for Crossroads Care East Kent?
This is an excellent opportunity to work for a well-respected, not for profit, charitable organisation. As a charity we remain committed to supporting Carers; we design and deliver innovative services to improve the quality of their lives, and to those of the people that they care for. Our dedicated staff really feel that they make a difference.
Crossroads Care East Kent is a network partner of Carers Trust, the leading Carers charity in the UK.

Who are we looking for?
We are recruiting for very special carer support workers to join our bespoke teams. Our families care for people with a wide range of health care needs, including end of life and dementia care, and we are looking for caring staff who are kind, flexible and who are able to work under their own initiative.
No experience is necessary as full training given, but enhanced rates are paid for NVQ 2 or above qualified staff. We value diversity in our workforce and encourage applicants from all sectors of the community.

What can we offer you in return?
We have a mixture of contracts available from 16 – 37 hours per week, including waking nights and weekends. We pride ourselves on the quality of our training, good team support and competitive rates of pay, including travel time and mileage payments at 40p per mile.
CSW rates range from £7.15 - £10 per hour
Urgent Care Team (Seniors) £16,350 per annum (Full time posts only)
Wherever possible we will place your work close to home, however we are unable to guarantee this and you may be required to travel to meet the needs of our Carers.
