.NET Web Developer

Salary £30-35,000 p.a

As the successful candidate for the role of .NET Web Developer, you will be part of a team responsible for the development, continual enhancement and support of our client’s portfolio of websites. You will work with the different marketing groups around the company to enhance their online user experience. The client’s websites are mostly developed in C#, ASP.NET 4.5 utilizing the Ektron 9.1 CMS platform. In order to fulfil this remit you will need to be a lead developer with a sound .NET background, including Ektron CMS 9.0/9.1.

You will be working for our prestigious, very well thought of International client based in Margate who manufacture and supply fluid transfer systems around the world.

Governance
• As a.NET Web Developer you would play a key role in development of website technology strategy and will be responsible for providing timely implementation of web based projects within budget.
• You would also be required to maintain knowledge of new and changing technologies, new hardware, new software, and systems techniques that provide the most efficient website structure and support business strategies.
Operations
• C# ASP.NET programming, primarily working in a development area, moving code to staging and the live environments.
• As a .NET Web Developer you will responsible for supporting, developing and continued improvement of our websites, running on a ASP.NET 4.5 platform and utilizing the Ektron
• Documenting and commenting within the coding is an essential element of this role.
• You will also provide on-going support to the marketing teams by continually working to enhance and modify the user experience of websites.
Strategic Alignment
• All code must be to the same standard and well documented.
Relationship to others
• Provide support for our websites and stakeholders.
• Support and train website content managers on use of CMS.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS for WEB DEVELOPER

Required Skills:
• +5 years’ Experience .NET Web Development
• Strong skills in C#, ASP .NET 4.5
• Extensive knowledge of Linq & Web Services
• Experience with Object Oriented design and programming
• Experience with SQL Server 2014
• Experience with Ajax, Json, XML
• Html 5, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Responsive layout
• Strong Ektron 9.0/9.1 – Including Ektron FrameWork API and Caching
