Caretaker – Hadlow
Our client based in the Hadlow area is looking for a Caretaker to be responsible for the care and upkeep of buildings and their grounds.
Responsibilities
Making sure the buildings are in proper working order.
Carrying out minor repairs such as mending broken windows, changing light bulbs and unblocking drains
Turning heating and lighting on and off at appropriate times.
Making sure the premises are clean and that rubbish is collected and taken away, and any graffiti is cleaned up.
Maintaining the grounds and removing litter.
Unlocking and locking the building and ensuring that it is secure.
Managing a small team of cleaners.
This will be on a split shift basis, Monday to Friday. 6.30am – 10am & 2.30pm – 6.30pm
You must have experience of working in a school and have DBS clearance
