We have an exciting opportunity for a proven HR professional to join a leading company which are multi-sited across Kent. Working alongside the central HR team, this post will see you in a stand alone role based at their South East Kent site as an HR Officer.
Reporting directly to the off site HR Manager, you will be responsible for offering first line support to the local management team in what is a fast paced and busy environment with a high volume of employees. You will have a good knowledge of Employee relations and will be well versed in chairing disciplinaries, grievances and appeals, also you will be able to handle long term absence management cases within the business. You will be responsible for guiding and supporting the management team giving them the tools and knowledge to deliver a high level of ER support within the business to their teams.
This role will see you covering all aspects of Human resources to include the updating and on-going maintenance of policies and procedures, recruitment, integration, restructuring and redundancies and the provision of management information and reporting within the HR function.
This busy post demands excellent time management skills along with the ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines. You will have the ability to build relationships and deliver a high standard HR service to business, negotiating and influencing at a senior level as necessary.
Part CIPD qualification or relevant business experience is preferred, but you must have strong operational Employment Law knowledge. You will be conversant with Microsoft Office including Excel and you will have excellent communication skills.
