This is a fast paced, growing organisation delivering Property Management Services to its Medway area customer base.
The role is back office focused and responsible for collection of old debt controls from tenants and property letting.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of working within a demanding role where the balance of customer satisfaction and financial control is critical.
Reporting to the Branch Manager the successful candidate will be the responsible Credit Controller overseeing the day-to-day activities of the finance team and ensures the companies finance function is organised and efficient and produces accurate financial and management accounts.
Key Responsibilities
• Responsible for weekly review calls with key clients undergoing financial difficulties
• Collection of old rent arrears, tenants and Guarantors
• Maintenance of landlord debt records, inclusive of the monitoring and reporting of debt and arrears
• First escalation point for any legal action
• First point of escalation for landlord payment queries or issues
• Management of property evictions, as required
Key Skills / Experience Required
• Extensive experience of working within a financial control environment – Property Management specific is desirable, not essential
• Very strong interpersonal, financial and communication
• Experience of resolving debt issues and pro-actively implementing solutions to meet client needs
• A mentality of always delivering on commitments
• Positive attitude and a can do attitude
• Self-motivated and pro-active approach
• Computer literate with good excel skills, Sage experience preferable not essential.
