This is a new role and candidates will need to have proven experience in providing audio-visual technical support and live engineering coupled with experience of working in a media production environment. The successful candidate will have responsibility for managing all of the AV systems, responding to problems, managing AV for all Academy events and a wide range of other related activities.
Experience of working in an educational environment is an advantage but not essential
Brompton Academy, sponsored by the University of Kent, is an extremely popular oversubscribed school. Our previous two Ofsted reports, the last one in October 2012, rated us as ‘good’. We have a dynamic, innovative team of professional staff who want to make a difference to the lives, aspirations and opportunities of our young people in this socially and economically deprived area. The Academy moved into purpose built brand new buildings in September 2013.
We value our staff and, as such, you can expect to work in a friendly, supportive environment and enjoy the benefits of ongoing professional development.
This academy is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Any offer of appointment will be subject to a satisfactory enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check.
An application pack, containing the relevant Job Description, Person Specification and application form can be found on our website www.bromptonacademy.org.uk. Please email your completed application form, as soon as possible to robertpalmer@bromptonacademy.org.uk . CV’s will not be accepted.
