Company Accountant-Borough Green- £30000-Permanent

With a current turnover of £5.5 million my client situated in Borough Green are currently seeking a new company accountant to join their small team to replace a key member of their team. The ideal person will have a passion for working in an SME or is wishing to move into a smaller business. The ideal candidate will create, build and work closely with the managing director.

In order to be considered for the role the candidate will have the following experience:
• Sales Invoicing and Sales Ledger
• Resolve unapproved or disputed invoices
• Process invoices on Phoenix and provide other documents required by customers
• File invoices
• Reconcile Sage sales ledger with BL
• Chase debtors for payment
• Process debtor payments
• Purchase Ledger
• Process supplier invoices on Sage
• File invoices
• Request supplier statements and reconcile with Sage as necessary
• Prepare payments to suppliers on Barclays Online
• Cash Book
• Reconcile GBP, USD, and Euro bank accounts daily
• Reconcile petty cash
• Maintain fixed asset register
• Carry out monthly payroll process on Sage, send submissions to HMRC, process pension payments.
• Month End / Year End Financial Statements:
• Prepare to trial balance, month end and year end accounts for external accountants
