Hays Education are currently working in partnership with a school in Chatham in Kent to recruit for this new role.

The successful candidate will be available to work on a part time temporary basis 2-2.5 days per week.

As a school Finance Manager in this school in Chatham, your duties will include but not be limited to:

· Financial/Bursary duties
· Budget monitoring
· Raising invoices
· Checking the payroll

To be considered for this role it is essential that you have experience of working as a School Finance Manager and the following:

· Possession of the Diploma of School Business Management would be advantageous
· A high level of computer literacy in Payroll, Accounting and Spreadsheets.
· Experience in a similar role.
· Knowledge of Local Authority Procedures, particularly in relation to schools.
· Knowledge of SIMS/FMS
