Connect2Kent are looking to recruit Teaching Assistants to work within Sittingbourne & Sheppey. We have a number of opportunities for part time work supporting adult learners in the Skills Plus and Adult Education department. Learners will be attending English and Maths classes. We currently have an on-going need for TAs, the assignments are temporary and part time, but often long term.
Essential requirements:
* Previous experience of supporting learning in an education setting
* Excellent levels of numeracy and literacy and Maths and English to Level 2
* Ability to follow instructions
* Empathy, patience and initiative
* Available immediately to work in Kent
Desirable requirements:
* Experience of working with adults with complex learning needs
* A Teaching Assistant qualification
Application requirements:
* You must have the legal right to work in the UK
* Applicants must under go a DBS check at a cost of £54
* Supply referees to cover the last 5 years of employment
* Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
The hours will be:
*Monday - 10am till 12.30pm & 7pm til 9.30pm
*Wednesday - 7pm til 9.30pm
