Based in Crayford, Kent, Protosheet Engineering have been supplying customers for over 50 years. We are a jobbing sheet metal, welding & light fabrication shop, and supply a vast range of industries an even vaster range of goods. From shopfront trims through to museum exhibits, we cater for all.
We have a vacancy for an enthusiastic, motivated and reliable individual. Ideally you would be an experienced Sheet Metal Worker / Fabricator and would be competent in the following areas:
MIG welding (TIG Welding is an advantage), Working with materials ranging from 1mm - 6mm, Working with Stainless Steel and Aluminium, General Sheet Metal / Fabrication.
You will be expected to be able to use general workshop equipment including, Pistol Drills, Pillar Drills, Angle Grinders, Linishers, Tapping machines, Band Saws etc. Capable of reading & understanding engineering drawings and working to deadlines plus experience with Guillotines and Pressbrakes.
If you have a flexible attitude with the ability to learn, work quickly and retain information, due to the large variety of products and work as part of a team, but with minimal supervision we want to hear from you.
Standard Hours of work:
Monday – Thursday 7.00am – 16.00pm, Friday 07.00 – 15.00pm
39 hours per week.
Additional hours (overtime) may be required to help meet business demands.
