MedwaySCP, an independent local recruitment agency established in 2006 are looking for Temporary Housing Officers.

We are looking for individuals who have:

* Good customer service and communication skills,
* Are able to manage time and plan effectively,
* Problem solving skills,
* The ability to work independently but also as a member of a team.

This role will see you providing high quality services in an effective manner to all stakeholders. Your role will include visiting or interviewing customers to offer advice in the housing options available to them. You may be required to support customers in transferring to alternative accommodation. Your role will include ensuring new systems and processes are in place to monitor Welfare Reform changes.

Requirements:

* Minimum of 5 GCSE’s grade C or above
* Experience of working in customer focused social housing environment, income collection and managing budgets
* Good knowledge of Welfare Reform Legislation, current housing issues and housing finance
