MedwaySCP, an independent local recruitment agency established in 2006 are looking for experienced Approved Mental Health Practitioners looking for a locum Social Services role.
Role responsibilities:
* Working with a variety of complex and diverse Mental Health caseloads offering advice and support.
* Undertaking care planning.
* Implementing and evaluating intervention services and resources to achieve the most effective methods within the Medway Mental Health Social Work Team to improve the welfare of service users.
Requirements:
* Minimum of 12 months post qualifying experience as an Approved Mental Health Practitioner
* Degree in Social Work (or equivalent) and up to date registration with the HCPC.
* A full UK driving licence would be preferable.
* In depth understanding of mental disorders, treatments, Social Work Practice and Care Management.
We are looking for individuals who:
* Are able to work independently but also as a member of a team,
* Have excellent customer care skills,
* Have the ability to adapt to different situations along with good planning skills and the ability to cope under pressure.
